We are happy to invite you to our Digital History and Community Engagement site in fellowship with COPLACDigital, Mellon FoundationGeorgia College, and Shepherd University.   The community organization that we’ll be engaging and growing with is Immanuel’s House, located in Martinsburg, WV.  This site was picked because both Mary Gunderson King and Dr. Howard-Bostic have had hands-on experience serving at Immanuel’s House and have been deeply moved and changed by their time of involvement there.

During the semester our webpage organically unfolded as we not only journeyed through our class, but as we engaged with Immanuel’s House and its community.  Part of this course is using digital tools to capture the history of our community site through songs, music, sounds, symbols.  We thank you for participating in our journey.
